Diane Galpin

Biography:

Born and raised in New Zealand, I have spent the past thirty years living and working in Australia, during which time I have traveled extensively. This has afforded me some unique photographic opportunities. I am a self-taught photographer specializing in black and white photography.
I have a deep passion for New York City and I have found the enigmatic art of black and white photography allows me the opportunity to reveal this city and other forms of everyday realities.
While in New York City, I became involved in the world of artists which has inspired me to add a new dimension to my work, that of an artist. New York City is my inspiration.
I have photographs and paintings in private collections in London, New York, Los Angeles, Charlotte, Seattle, Sydney, Cairns, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
My works have been exhibited on the Gold Coast and New York.
